Change Management - Design Thinking

Wednesday, January 17, 2018 -
6:30pm to 8:30pm

Join us as guest speaker Steve Blais discusses Change Management - Design Thinking.

Design thinking is a formal method for practical, creative resolution of problems and creation of solutions, with the intent of an improved future result. It is solution based as opposed to the typical business analyst problem based approach. Design thinking approaches provide a structure in which to develop new solutions to problems. Design thinking is a human-centered methodology that helps organizations to create solutions around their users rather than around their products. This webinar is an introduction to the processes and approaches of design thinking especially as it applies to business analysis and how business analysts might use design thinking to enhance their problem solving and process improvement skills.

Steve has 50 years of Information Systems experience in technology management, consulting, and business analysis. He specializes in the design and installation of business-oriented accounting systems and databases for commercial and government clients in the distributed environment. Over the past five years Steve has been engaged in establishing business analysis processes and departments in system integrators and financial services companies in Southeast Asia and around the world.

Mr. Blais has a reputation for on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality software products. He has extensive teaching and course design experience in the areas of project management, agile development, business analysis, and software design.
