The Southeast Michigan IIBA Chapter is excited to be hosting the first Professional Development Day in southeast Michigan that is geared specifically towards Business Analysts. This will be a fantastic opportunity for you to expand your skill set, learn about the latest industry trends, and network with like minded professionals.

Workshop Description
Business Analysts / Product Designers are often responsible to produce several requirements artifacts, including the Domain Model and the Use Case Model for the applications they develop.
This workshop will show you how to model requirements using the Unified Modeling Language in order to add visual depictions to your requirement documentation; and will cover the tools and techniques to create requirement visualization that will help your stakeholders read, understand and approve your requirements.
Among all diagrams, this workshop focuses on the class diagram and the use case diagram.
Presenter: Christian Sioui
For over twenty years, Christian Sioui has been a mentor to Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Data Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Designers, and Scrum Masters. He has implemented various use-case based SDLC methodologies for numerous organizations. He has also helped corporations transform in adopting an Agile framework and help integrate the framework with their software development practices.

Format
You will create your own domain model and use case model, discuss and refine them in small groups, and review together as part of the larger group. We will design an application together, and we will produce both domain and use case models for our application.
Take Away
Aside from creating your own domain model and your use case model, you will leave the workshop with a handbook that covers the important parts of what was covered during the workshop.
